It was a few weeks back that I notice this particular outlet outside of Isetan and on that day, the shop people are giving away balloons and I thought must be another place for Taiwanese Bubble Tea, since Chatime is also opening up an outlet on the LG floor.
As said, the outlet actually sells Taiwanese Milk Bubble tea and the variation is slightly different from Chatime.
A larger counter compare to Chatime.
The staff hard at work to make the Signature Milk Tea. I only browse through the menu briefly and opted for the Signature Winter Melon Tea.
This is what I get for RM5.90. A layer of milk froth on the top, and the winter melon tea underneath. They also have a small sticker on the cup that teaches you how to drink it
1. Tea Off
Without stirring, sip the tea from the bottom with a straw to savour the complexity and freshness of the tea.
2. Milk Moustache
Without stirring, sip the tea from the top layer of milk foam to get a creamy, satisfying mouthful of the flavour of fresh milk accentuated by the complex flavours of the tea.
3. All in One
For the best of both worlds, stir both layers together and drink up.
I have to say that the milk is really milky and tasty, accompanying by the sweet winter melon tea, it’s really nice. I haven’t try anything like this before and will definitely get it again. There’s also things that you can add in the tea, like pearl bubble, herbal jelly, etc, but I just opt for the plain one.
