Last night, I attended a classmate wedding @ Mandarin Oriental. It was one of the biggest wedding dinner that I’ve attended because the total number of tables are close to a 100.
I’ve got to know the groom since Form 1, and when we were in Form 5, we were classmates again with him seating beside me at the front row of the class. Yup, all of us don’t stay in the same class in my school but that’s how it goes.
He’s also the one I remembered tearing up my RM50 note back in my Form 1 days, and that’s also when he pointed out that I was on TV, when this show is discussing about Gejala Lepak (Loitering Problems). I was shot at Lot 10, I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, because my reason being there is just to get some PC games from Imbi Plaza. Ah….those were the days.
We brought Kayden along for the wedding and despite us planning the best timing for him, somehow he just won’t cooperate that day. We planned his naptime so that he won’t be so cranky come dinner time but somehow, our plan was foiled by him. At the end, he just slept 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon.
For a 100 table banquet, one can expect dinner to start late, but luckily food was served around 830PM.
Kayden, despite deprive of nap was behaving nicely throughout the night. We went out for a walk during some of the dishes when Kayden was suddenly afraid of Lau.
Kayden with his funny face.
We didn’t stayed until the very end because at 10PM, they are still serving the prawn so we decided to leave earlier.
It was a nice wedding dinner and Congratulations to my friend Yung Fei and his wife!
p/s: Kayden is down with a tummy ache and slight fever today, hopefully he feels better later.
