Christmas had just whizzed past and it’s a jolly good celebration. Nothing beats a holiday where you can spend time with family and friends.
There’s no water supply on Christmas Eve’s Steamboat dinner so we ended up have to buy water for the show to go on. Some friends arrived early, some late, but most had a jolly good time playing with the Kinect.
And then comes the Christmas presents, this is the 1st year we celebrating it with Kayden, but we didn’t put up any Christmas tree fearing that it will be terrorize by him because there’s enough things that are already being terrorized by him around the house now. As for presents wise, we got him some Mega Block that he had no clue what to do with it aside from chewing it and a pair of Clarks’ Shoe that I got from the warehouse sale a couple of weeks back.
Last year, me and May both had Blackberries as presents, this year we opt for something not so techie so we both decided to have a RM200 limit on our gifts, so I chose this.
England Home and Away jerseys for about RM300, got it at a bargain price because of Christmas sale on Kitbag. Arrived last Monday and thankfully without any taxes!
It was initially held by customs, but luckily it’s stated that goods taxable but less than RM500 are exempted from any taxes. I already had phobias dealing with customs since my Kinect incident, so it’s all good. The colour is just nice for Christmas and even for CNY, so I don’t have to get anymore new clothes for that.
May on the other hand don’t know what to get, while she had idea ranging from lip balms to name card holders, finally she said she wanted this,
Radley Tote Bag! She got her sister to get it for her in London and will be passing it to her friend when she’s there this month. Yup, you see it correctly, the bag is GBP239 which is equivalent to RM1,140 and look who’s constantly being nag for buying high tech gadgets.
At least she’s happy with it. Anyways, Happy Christmas!
