Original Taiwan Pearl Tea @ Chatime, Pavilion

August 28, 2010

Last Thursday just before lunch time, Sherlin sent out an email about this Crap Crepe Place that she wanted to try. However, that didn’t get the general consensus from the rest of the lunch gang, so we ended up eating at Food Republic.

After lunch, Shireen and Chin Chin went to this place to get the dessert on shaved ice, while the remaining of the lunch gang, went to get Pearl Tea instead.

Chatime is located on the same floor as Dome and served authentic Pearl Tea like the one at Taiwan.

The crowd is quite alright as Jiun and Sherlin is making their selection.

The promo that is not valid anymore, “Buy 1 Free 5 Free Toppings”.

There’s quite a variety to choose from, like the original Milk Pearl Tea (which you can choose from a few selection of tea), as well as ice blended.

I ordered a cup of Roasted Milk Tea (RM5.90) and it’s pretty good. The taste is very different from the ones sold at pasar malam and is very authentic. Not to mention there’s a lot of pearls as well.

Sherlin ordered a cup Japanese Matcha Red Bean smoothie which is quite thick from the look of it. It also only costs RM5.90.

It’s definitely something worth trying and I’ve just googled and apparently Chatime is quite big in other parts of the world, so I’m sure there will be more of this outlet coming out in the Klang Valley.

Meanwhile, head over to Pavilion to try it out.
