Had the most relaxing Saturday with good food and good scenery. I wish that every Saturday is the same.
Order take-away from Yut Kee for breakfast. We were there about 845AM and there’s already people queuing up. Order 2 Roti Babi and Hainan tea to go.
Located just at the back of Yut Kee is “as written on the newspaper cutting on the left”, one of the top Mee Rebus stall around in KL. So I ordered 2 packets as well to go.
The Roti Babi, sitting nicely waiting for us to savour it. Sometimes it’s funny because since having Kayden around, we get to go to more places for breakfast. One of the main reason is because he wakes up about 630AM every day, so I guess it plays a big part.
The Mee Rebus (RM4) is pretty small packet but consist of the standard mee and bean sprouts, with potatoes and bean curds as well. The serving is pretty small but at least they gave 1 whole eggs.
Taste wise, I find it so so only because it has a very strong curry powder plus herbs smell. But I’m sure it’s not being featured on the Star for nothing. One can also opt for cuttlefish as well at RM5 per packet, but I have to give it a miss since I can’t eat any seafood.
Breakfast at it’s full glory. Roti Babi, Mee Rebus and Chinese Nasi Lemak.
Spend the whole morning and early afternoon at May’s place in Kepong surfing the web and looking for infos on Macbook Pro (yeah, been thinking of getting a MBP for Photoshop purposes, since my current Compaq don’t run Photoshop well and the battery can’t last for more than 2 hours).
After Kayden’s nap and lunch, we head over to Sunway Pyramid to shop around and have early dinner. Got some cheap DVDs, including Puppy Love Ice Kacang at 30% off.
Had Nandos for dinner, and let Kayden do all the ordering.
All grown up sitting on the baby chair and looking like he’s also waiting for his Peri Peri chicken.
The Starter Plate which is nothing spectacular.
May have to shield him away while having her food.
After dinner, head over to I-City to see all this fake trees with lights (and have to pay RM10 for it).
Took some photos but not entirely nice.
Kayden was so tired that he fell asleep when we were heading back to our car.
It’s a nice Saturday and time well spend. How did you spend your Saturday?

I went to i-city too last 2 weeks 🙂
@mimid3vils
I think it’s ok ok only, Kayden is still too small to enjoy the lights…
