May’s Pre Mother’s Day Dinner at Marche turned out to be a prelude for some celebration to come. However, the dinner turned out to be quite an un-enjoyable experience because Kayden was very agitated when we reached Marche. Could be due to the smokiness of the place.
We were there from 645PM to 8PM and he started crying from the moment we sat on the table. So we might not be able to taste clearly what ever that we have been shoving down our mouth. (To be frank, we have been doing that a lot recently.)
A cup of Banana Orange juice to start our meal.
May’s Carrot + Celery + Green Apple Juice. Both priced at RM10.50.
Both of the juice is good without any added sugar and comes with fruity goodness.
The Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken is very tasty. The only thing missing is croutons.
The Mushroom Soup is thick and rich as ever. Nice to go with a hot cross bun.
Half Roasted Chicken with Baked Potatoes. Normal price at RM19.90 but on that day is at a promotional price of RM9.90.
The roast chicken is flavourful and tender. The mushroom sauce that comes with it taste a bit weird and bear in mind that there’s a 20 minutes waiting time for the chicken.
The baked potato taste alright with sour cream and beef bacon, but was quite plain. Was expecting more with at least some chives and more.
Dining at Marche is quite an experience, however I do find that the place is quite smoky because of the in house kitchen. Overall, prelude to Mother’s Day celebration didn’t turn out to be as expected but Sunday’s celebration is much better, so stay tuned.

The last time I went there, I didn’t find anything interesting enough for me to try.. well.. guess it’s just me.. lol..
@shirleen
To be frank, it’s quite uninteresting now. It’s either you’re eating roast chicken, or some grill meat or pasta or rosti. That’s it. Good to eat once every 1-2 years. Haha.
