Kayden’s New Stroller

March 23, 2010

We were very fortunate that May’s sister ‘kuasa’ (empowered) a Combi Stroller to us for Kayden’s usage. However after just over a month of usage, we decided to invest on a bigger and meaner machine.

The Combi had a very small wheel hence making it quite difficult for me to conquer the escalators in major shopping malls. Yeah, you would probably said that we should take the lift instead but it’s just too slow!

While it’s easy to go up an escalator with the Combi, coming down with it is a major nightmare. There are a few incidents (without Baby Kayden of course) where I almost trip and roll down the escalator while trying to manoeuvre the stroller. We had been eyeing on a particular model for a while, and we almost bought it the week before when the sales promoter offers us 20% for it. It’s retail price is RM999.

So when there’s a Baby Fair @ MidValley last weekend, we went and join the crowd hoping that we would find a good deal. And true enough, we found it.

The Graco Mosaic is one of those Travel Stroller, where you can actually clip in a carrier, for a smaller baby. But since Kayden is almost 6.5kg now, this stroller is just nice.

The Mosaic is tall enough for me to be able to push Kayden comfortably, without my feet kicking on the rear wheels (Yup, I kicked on the Combi’s rear wheel quite often!) and I can easily lift up the 2 front wheels when I come down the escalator, something that the Combi need a hell lot of effort to do.

And the best part is, we got it at RM699, that’s a whopping 30% off. It’s again THE SECRET! I was just telling May the other day that who knows, if they got 30% discount, takan you don’t want to get it. So once again, the Secret works (for me at least!)

Here’s Kayden testing out the new stroller. I think he likes it. What do you guys think?

Here’s him saying ‘Hi’ on his new stroller! Isn’t he cute?

I’m glad that I got the stroller, so it’s more visit to the shopping mall from now on. (Or at least until my leg is not aching!)

6.5kg is an overstatement. last week when we weighed him, he’s about 6.2kg, the previous week was 6kg. so i think this week should be 6.5kg.

yup, the stroller is a bargain! lucky we didn’t get it earlier.

Baby Kayden is absolutely cutie cute! This morning, we (me i.e. B. Kayden’s Gu-Poh, his grandparents and great grandma attempted to take him to have some fish head noodle at the oh my gosh, where is that place which Jordan wrote about sometime ago?!? Well, B. Kayden was blinking his eyes and frowning in the sun. Ha, Ha, mummy and daddy, better get him a pair of sunglasses. He so wanted to talk to us with his baby language. Must be complaining about the sunlight and the hot air-con in his great grandma’s car.
Anyway, I certainly passed him with A+ for being good, when all of us can eat in peace!
