We have been bringing Kayden out a lot for the past few weeks, and he seemed to be enjoying it whenever we are at these malls. Hmm, it must be our constant hanging out around the malls during his pregnancy that makes him a shopper too.
May were busy buying Clarin’s stuff at Parkson, so here’s Kayden when he’s in a good mood!
Here’s him not in a good mood!
He has grown a lot for the past 2 weeks, things that he can do now includes constant smiling and wanting to talk.
He even can utter something that sound like ‘Hello’.
We reached 1U quite early and after 2 hours of shopping, we met up Mr and Mrs Lau for lunch, at Pasta Zanmai.
I think this is the 3rd Pasta Zanmai post on my blog, but good things are meant to be shared right? May ordered Chicken Teriyaki Pasta with Tortilla Maki. Instead of using vinegar rice, a piece of tortilla is used making it a fusion maki!
This is the Chicken Teriyaki Pasta that comes with the Tortilla Maki. The set is RM22.
I ordered something more unconventional, but also what Pasta Zanmai is famous for, that is their pizza. Teriyaki Chicken Pizza with Onsen Egg. Their pizza is really good, even better than the ones at Pizza Hut. It’s thin crust and crunchy and with a fusion of Teriyaki sauce, no wonder their pizza is a hit!
Mrs Lau being pregnant and not allowed to eat anything raw, ordered the Tori Garlic Rice set. Basically fried chicken (Japanese style) with Garlic Fried Rice.
Mr Lau ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and Hotate Pizza set. Something that May had ordered a number of times like this and this.
Still one of the best Japanese fusion restaurant in town, and less crowded compare to their sister restaurant, Sushi Zanmai (which until today I am put off by the long queue each time!)
Next post, Ikan Bakar!
