Harlow, it’s me Kayden again! And yup, I’ve hijacked daddy’s blog again and blog about where we went last Saturday for dinner.
Mummy and Daddy, along with Grandma and Sai Goo Cheh (Jasmin) went to the Gardens to meet up with Gong Gong and Poh Poh for dinner. We went to this place called PappaRich because mummy said the food is quite good and coincidentally daddy haven’t eat here before.
According to mummy, PappaRich is one of those Old Town wannabe. However, their food is way better than Old Town now!
PappaRich served mainly Malaysian and Hainanese dishes, from the typical Toasted Bread with Kaya, Laksa, Char Kway Teow to Chicken Chop and Fish and Chips too.
Daddy said the setting is just like some of those bars in Newcastle in the UK. Hmm, I wondered how UK look like?
For drinks, daddy ordered Hainan Cham Ice, which he said is quite good. When can me drink coffee?
Mummy ordered some weird drink with lots of green worm look alike. Apparently it’s Soya Bean with Gula Melaka and Cendol, daddy said it tasted weird.
Here’s my doggie making an appearance.
Daddy who had a heavy lunch (eating Mee Rebus) ordered Hainanese Toast with Butter and Kaya. If compare to Old Town, the toast here are thicker and better, daddy said that he won’t visit Old Town again because the toast here are way better than Old Town.
Mummy ordered Char Kway Teow. It’s quite delicious and taste almost like the ones from Penang. The only thing is there’s only Kway Teow, daddy prefer it to have mee as well.
Mummy suggested to Gong2 to order the famous Nasi Lemak, which is one of the highlight for the place. Looks really good, but since daddy didn’t tried it, he didn’t want to comment much.
Grandma ordered Dry Curry Mee with Fishcake. She said it taste ok, nothing much to shout about.
Sai Goo Cheh ordered Fish n Chips with Fried Rice. Initially she said wanted to share the rice with daddy, but she ended up finishing all the rice.
Here’s her posing with a chip.
Here’s me not so satisfy coz I am the only one not eating, that’s why I’m yelling my lungs out!
Daddy said that PappaRich’s food is not bad, so he was thinking of going there for breakfast tomorrow. Maybe I can follow too. To all of you who wants to try as well, PappaRich is widely located around Klang Valley, so go to one near you!
