Happy New Year and Happy 2010! My first post of the year and I’m trying to be as detail as possible because when I read back my previous year’s write up, it’s like 5 seong 5 lok!
2009 has certainly been quite a year for myself in almost every degree of my life.
My reflections about last year,
1. There are a lot of things to enjoy about life, and I’m glad that I learnt it early. There’s no better way than spending times with loved ones and friends.
2. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Why, because if you are feeling it’s getting tough and everything is against you, it’s time to make a change, even though it’s difficult, it’s an opportunity.
It’s never easy leaving a place that one is so familiar, and a place that one makes so many friends and memories. However, tomorrow is another day!
3. Life is full of ups and downs, and of course at the end of each storm, there will always be a beautiful rainbow waiting (with a leprechaun holding a pot of gold!)
The day we both find out that we are having a baby, tears of joy came rolling down. Now, we get to see how our kid is going to be.
4. Life’s not a bed of roses, to get that you will sow what you want to reap. So true for me when I am growing this blog last year! From having almost 0 visitor daily during the beginning of the year, it’s averaging 20-30 visitors a day. There’s a sense of personal achievement seeing the traffic increasing everyday and who else would help if it’s not the readers who give their support. I can seriously take this to a different level.
5.I think my last reflection (this is the best 5 that I can think of), is don’t wait for things to happen. Make it happen! Haha, I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t make it happen 6-7 months back. It’s one of the best decision I think I have made and I’m loving every second of it. Major crossroad aside, I’m glad I visited the place I wanted to visit, eat the things I wanted to eat and write about the things I wanted to write. It’s just a simple statement, make it happen, for yourself!
It’s been a great year for me (despite some minor hiccups), and here’s to a toast to a greater 2010! Happy New Year everyone!

It’s like a flashback to see what have you done in the past 365 days. It’s truly memorable and beautiful experience that you don’t want to miss and you will still remember when you get old. A toast to you and May and Kayden to have a wonderful 2010.
