Last Sunday was Kayden’s Full Moon party. We started the morning by bringing him to Sze Yeh Temple for some prayers.
Baby Kayden getting ready to visit the temple. Seen here wearing a bodysuit that Bryan bought him as full moon gift. Looks like a mini chef in the making. And him getting bored of waiting.
Before everything was setup.
Some chilli padi on some plant, my Goo Mah said that it will help prevents the rain (but apparently don’t work anyway coz it was pouring!)
The decorative and the hawker style setup.
The Laksa is one of the best food of the night. I ate 2 bowls!
The Yong Tau Foo is not bad either especially the fish ball.
The more boring stuffs include Fried Rice and Stir Fried Vegetables.
Rendang Chicken, Prawn and Kerabu Fish.
Something different from other caterer. Tempura!
Ebi Tempura!
Satay which is always a hit on Full Moon party.
The highlight of the night, if of course the Char Kway Teow. Something which is really different and made to order. The only thing missing though is cockles. I saw someone even tapao a few packet back, just like those at Pasar Malam.
It was a good night despite the heavy rain an hour before the start of the party, but aside from that everything went well. So fast it’s already a month. I can’t wait to bring him out shopping next, which is planned on this Saturday. Wish us luck!

Hi! Thanks for the prompt reply! One more question, how much did you pay per head? I love the fact that there’re so many varieties!!!

@angie
I can’t recall already. I think its about RM15/18 per pax. Get him to come to your house, to at least make a quote…you can choose what you want. It’s that flexible.
