428 is definitely a day to remember because we braved through 2 hours of traffic jam just to have brunch at this place at Plaza Damas.
The Blue Cow Café, is recommended by Yam via his FB update a few months back and feeling for some hearty brunch, we decided to make a trip there before heading back to Kepong. The place is small yet cozy, serving breakfast to a lot of expats.

Heeding Yam’s advice, we steer away from the Big Breakfast because it’s big, so we opt for smaller set. I ordered a cup of Cappuccino @ RM8.
While May couldn’t resist her coffee addiction and order a cup of Long Black @ RM8.
The menu is consist of a selection of choices, ranges from the Big Breakfast (RM50), and like this one that I ordered, Bacon and Toast @ RM19. Comes with 4 pieces of smoked bacon that’s grilled rather than the conventional pan fried, and 2 poached eggs.
May ordered the Sausages set (also RM19) that comes with 2 choices of sausages (ranges from pork, beef, lamb, chicken, Italian, Chorizo and Boerewors) and scrambled eggs. The pork sausage is good, and Boerewors despite it’s unique taste is surprisingly good as well. Each set comes with 3 pieces of toast and butter.
We ordered a Kid’s Pancake (RM9) for Kayden as he loves pancake. The pancake was a bit too fluffy hence it’s easily crumble into small pieces.
Overall both the bacons and sausages are nice and very tasty (especially the sausages) and we can’t help to get some on the way out.

Kayden posing with the unique cow at the back. He had diarrhea for the past 3 days hence you can see his chubby cheek is gone.
Overall, I like the Blue Cow Café as it’s cozy with lots of al-fresco dining. The grilled sausages does make the 2 hour traffic jam forgettable. Next, I think I would drop by to try their lunch or dinner menu too.

Getting there is pretty tricky but look for the Starbucks outlet and the Blue Cow Café is located up the escalator beside Starbucks.
