There’s only a handful of restaurants in the Klang Valley that sells pancakes, with Paddington’s being one of the famous ones. I remember there’s a place called Waffle place as well but not sure if it is still in existence in One Utama.
Pancake House International can be considered a newcomer in this segment of the market and judging by the looks of some of the cutleries being used, I think they do have some association with The Chicken Rice Shop. Open a few months back in Midvalley, we stopped by for lunch while doing some last minute shopping back in November.
Kayden, like a boss while waiting for our food. The menu in Pancake International House consists of mainly pancakes and waffles, something that all 3 of us love!
I’ve forgotten what’s the set call but it’s part of their set meals that consist of a piece of Fried Chicken, Spaghetti and a serving of Nachos. You must be asking, isn’t this a pancake place, well that’s also part of the meal.
The set meal were pretty good, and the nachos was something out of the ordinary. The pasta and the fried chicken on the other hand have got a local kind of flavour, not surprise if the operator is the same as the Chicken Rice Shop.
The pancakes were soft and fluffy, just the way pancakes should be. A great place for pancakes!
May ordered another set meal that consist of tomato chicken (a bit like the Ayam Masak Merah) plus waffle, which again is pretty good compare to the ones you find in A & W.
Overall, it was a satisfying lunch, albeit the fried chicken is too powdery. We wouldn’t mind dropping by for their waffles and pancakes since it’s pretty amazing!
