Our Baby, Pa-sonaru

A Best Friend’s Wedding

February 26, 2012

Yesterday, another brother loses his bachelorhood but he already lost it 2 weeks back when he had another wedding ceremony in Singapore. Fortunately for us who can’t make it to Singapore, he also hold another wedding reception in KL so that all of us can attend.

If I’m not mistaken, this is the only one wedding that all of us attended, yup. When Pat got married, Yam wasn’t there. When I got married, Pat wasn’t there. And when Lau got married, Lai wasn’t there. How ironic it took 3 weddings for all of us to gather up. All the brothers together, but spot the odd one out!

The bride and groom, and the last minute best man, Jason!

Being the 2nd ceremony, it’s pretty easy as there’s no sisters so it makes getting the bride much easier although the Singapore version prove to be more complicated according to Wong. All of us did look a little bit like waiters for the day.

Dinner was at Cheers Palace, a place that I always thought the food is so so until last night where a lot of the dishes was pretty good. I know I contradict a little but seriously the food is way better the last time I was there.

This was also a first time all of us brothers are being called onto the stage to give a toast, something very different and special.

And here is all of us doing the toast!

While the groom and the bride is doing the toast rounding, we tested out the Canon S100 smile detection features and got photos like this…

May, Kayden and Me.

Lai and Kel.

Lau and Leanne.

Leanne and Yam.

Lin who couldn’t make the camera take the shot and have to rely of Lai’s wicked smile.

Jason and Tracy.

Pat and Leanne, eating the suckling pig with fork and knife, their reason, it so that they could cut the fat out from the skin. Weird!

Kayden all the way from the top!

It’s been a great get together for a long time and we had a lot of fun! Here’s a toast to Terry and Piaf for a great wedding!
