My Maiden HK Trip

My maiden trip to HK is quite an exciting one, and that explains the lack of update the whole of last week. Am still compiling the photos for the trip (although not many) but here are some of the things that I did when I was there last week.

Hired a luxury taxi to a not so luxury hotel.

Having steamboat with some old Uni friends.

Traveled on the Crystal Cabin on the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car with the sun shining in most of the time.

Visited an old skool café that have been used in many shooting of local series/movies near Temple Street.

Spent an evening near the Avenue of Stars and watching the Symphony of Light. Free (annoying) commentary from kids visiting from China.

Ate Wan Tan Mee at some random stall in Mong Kok, and turns out to be good.

Polo Bun for breakfast at some local chain of Char Chan Teng.

Made some bets at the Happy Valley Race course and ended up loosing 50 bucks.

Got to meet some HK superstar (FAMA) at the race course though.

Overall, it’s a pretty interesting trip although it’s not as much as I expected it to be. I guess staying in the most populated area in the country means that even when you are walking down the street, some fella will actually bumped onto your shoulders, not to mention the countless occasionally shouting between the random individual over something or the ever so convenient foul language that pops up here and there.

Full itinerary to follow!
