I remembered setting my foot at this restaurant more than 4 years back on a Saturday morning, mainly because we were in the area as Lau wanted to install speakers on his Myvi.
Located off the smallest roundabout in Petaling Jaya, this place is famed for it’s Curry Fish Head and according to Lau, even the former Prime Minister had visited this place before. Lunch time is normally packed with workers from the nearby industrial buildings so be sure to reach early. Al-fresco and air conditioned dining is available.
They typically served all sorts of dishes that you can find in a Nasi Kandar shop, ranging from fried stuffs to curries and more.
Their Mutton is one of the best in town, but I normally don’t opt for it mainly because it’s red meat. So I took their Fried Fish Roe instead. It’s one of my favourite dish, but not a lot of stalls are selling it nowadays. Top with curry and vegetables, it’s good to go!
May would normally choose something more conventional like the Fried Chicken, Tofu and Omelet.
Price ranges from RM5-RM8 depending on the type of dishes that were chosen, however do note that Mutton can cost up to RM10. They also offer set lunches as well for diners who are interested in their Curry Fish Head, price wise starts from RM49 and above.
My meal for the day, RM5.50.
