Hi, this is Kayden reporting in. Apparently today’s mummy and daddy’s 3rd marriage anniversary and daddy is cooking something for mummy to eat. It’s also my 19th months old!
Roasted vegetables as side dish. What daddy did was marinated all the vegetables with extra virgin olive oil, salt, rosemary, parsley and herbs’ de Provence. After marinating it, it’s off into the oven for about 30 minutes.
And as for the main dish, daddy wanted to cook salmon and tortellini, some kind of gwai lo’s wantan.
As for the Salmon, daddy just wanted to make it light and simple. He just marinated it with olive oil, salt and pepper, dill and some lemon juice.
After 30 minutes, the roasted vegetables are done. The baby carrots absorbed all the flavours of the herbs and is very good!
A bowl of cream plus cheese plus egg and herbs for the pasta sauce.
Daddy got the fresh tortellini at a bargain rate. It’ actually looked pretty weird with green all over.
It only needs to be cook for 6 minutes and off to the pasta sauce it goes!
Fresh Tortellini with carbonara sauce!
The end product, Grilled Lemon Salmon with Dill and Roasted Vegetables. Does it look like the ones in restaurant?
Here’s me being cheeky as usual. And a family photo taken by goo cheh. Mummy didn’t comment anything on the food coz she’s having flu and can’t taste most of the food but daddy thought it’s pretty alright. Anyway, Happy Anniversary to Mummy and Daddy!

It’s not bad. Minimal marination required and very healthy too!
