If you have read about my previous post, it’s one of the most eventful birthday that I had. If you are interested, you can read it all here.
After the check up on Monday, we went grocery shopping as I’m requested to cook dinner. Since Village Grocer is nearby, we head to Bangsar Village for lunch as well.
Plan B, had been around for a while now and a is pretty big in the blogosphere. I would say it’s a contemporary bistro, with their menu ranges from sandwiches to burgers to some local delicacies as well.
Pretty much sums up what I was thinking of that day, “When life gives you lemons…make lemonade!”
Love the setting, a mix of old and new and the ambience make you feel like you are in a diner in the Big Apple.
Water are available for free and served in this giant brown bottles.
Must not be miss, is their Butterscotch Milkshake. Yummy and tasty! Delicious also serve that too, but most of the time it’s not available.
Big Sticks for May as she’s eating Laksa.
Nyonya Laksa (RM16) to be exact. It’s served with chicken, prawns, crunchy bean sprouts and cucumber with a slight lemongrass curry. The prawns are very fresh and big, and the soup is thick and flavourful. Do take note that only vermicelli is available, not mee or kway teow.
As for me, I ordered the Triplex (RM19), it’s the ultimate club sandwich, with 3 layers of grilled chicken, turkey bacon, roasted capsicum and sliced avocado on egg mayo spread.
I like the turkey bacon as it’s crunchy, just like the ones at O’Briens. Overall the it’s a great club sandwich, the chicken breast is tendered and the avocado and egg mayo is an excellent spread combination.
It’s a nice place to hang out for a cup of coffee and sandwich, great for meet ups and stuff like that. Overall, it’s quite an interesting to have my birthday lunch, after going through an eventful weekend.
