Although I am not working in Menara Weld for close to 2 years now, I still usually go back there to have lunch with the lunch gang. And when recently Sherlin mentioned that there’s this place that serve Pork Burger, I told them that I must give it a try.
Tseng’s Kitchen, have been there for quite a while but we never give it a try until a few days ago. Notice that their tagline is No MSG and Non Halal, which explains why there’s Pork Burger!
From the outside, it just look like a normal restaurant selling chicken rice, but I was surprised that they serve more than that. So after browsing their menu for a while, we started ordering.
Shireen ordered the simplest of all, just some Shanghai Vegetable Rice and 1 piece of Fish Ball.
Simple 1 scoop of rice is enough to satisfy her hunger.
Me and ChinChin went on to order their set lunch for RM10.80 which consist of either
Steamed or Roast Chicken. Do take note that if you want the thigh portion, there’s additional RM1 charged.
A plate of Bean Sprouts.
2 pieces of Fish Ball and
A selection of either Rice/Noodles or Hakka Noodles. There’s even a cup of drink as well that goes in the set. I am surprised that the taste is pretty good although Shireen had mentioned that their chicken is so so. While they lack the flavouring of MSG (which is always a bad thing), the taste is not very far off from any stalls that selling the same thing elsewhere.
Despite me wanting to try their Pork Burger, it’s Jiun ending ordering it. The price is about RM15 and took a while for it to be prepared. When it came, it sure looks delicious. I have a little piece of the patty and find it pretty ok with some oriental influence in there.
With it’s no MSG tagline, I won’t mind visiting this place again to have lunch. I’m sure my lunch gang would say the same, right?

I love my burger with pineapple, the sourness make the burger even more yummy!

I thought pineapple have to be sweet? Anyways, I do know that pineapple juice is a good meat tenderizer.
