Last Thursday, May had her usual lunch meet up with her parents, and since I was nearby, I joined them for lunch. Piccadily is located at Millennium Square, PJ and comes with a tag line “Affordable Local to Global Cuisine”
It covers 2 units on the ground floor, alfresco dining cum sports bar style. The variety of food ranges from Indian to Thai, Western to Malay.
May’s Nasi Lemak Nyonya Chicken is good despite having the star anise smell in the gravy.
I ordered the Mee Rebus, a simple meal with potato gravy. I haven’t eaten this for a long time and find it not salty and spicy enough. However, the place is generous is giving a lot of tofu and one whole egg.
May’s mother ordered the Japanese Seaweed Ramen.
While May’s dad ordered the Cantonese Fried Yee Mee, which is a bit disappointing because the portion is so small that we thought that only a half of the Yee Mee is used.
While the price is cheap (ranging from RM5-RM7) depending on the things you ordered, there are certainly some hit and miss in terms of the serving size and flavour. Folks around PJ can give this place a try, just remember not to order the Cantonese Fried Yee Mee, that’s all.
