Last weekend was an enjoyable one as we were able to spend it over at Awana Genting. The organizer, Lin claimed that it was a success, which is so true. We started off with Steamboat dinner on Friday night, look at the amount of food that night.
Lai, posing with an Oyster mushroom.
Chin Chin and Kel posing with porks. I wondered why?
The room that we stayed was very spacious with 2 rooms despite looking a bit run down. Apparently a room like this costs about RM400/night.
Steamboat dinner was so so because yours truly forgotten to bring the most important ingredients, the soup paste for the Tomyam soup, so everyone literally boycott the tomyam pot.
Our 1st night ended with some of us heading up to the casino and came back down around 2AM.
On the 2nd day, Melon and Chin Chin had to leave early, so here they are before heading down to KL.
A group picture of us before leaving to Genting again. Nice photo? That’s after a few tries of running up and down like this.
After we parked our cars, some of the rest already seated to have some durian.
All 4 of them couldn’t resist the smell of the durian.
Durians galore at the open space car park in front of Genting Hotel.
Kayden giving that cool look and probably thinking to himself how can it be so smelly?
A photo of May and Kayden at the Durian booth.
4 happy campers smelling like durian even past dinner time, their burp is still smelled like durian.
All the so call ‘kor kor’ already being a bad influence to him in front of the casino. First World Plaza is so packed with people that it’s difficult to find a place to sit and put Kayden to sleep.
Yam and Keristi joined us later in the afternoon and after spending some time in the casino, we head back down to Gohtong Jaya for dinner at this place call Tuck Fatt Bak Kut Teh.
The Claypot Bak Kut Teh is quite alright but both me and May didn’t really tasted it because Kayden was busy poo-ing during the whole dinner.
The plate of vegetable and char kway is alright.
All 4 of them can’t wait to dig in.
Yam and Keristi, decided not to stay over with us on the 2nd night and head back to KL after some heavy drinking session.
Here’s Kayden busy doing his business after 2 days of not going to the toilet, pity little guy.
It’s been a great trip for a long time coming, so people, when we going on our next trip?

It’s been so long we never travel together in a group. This is a fantastic and well-organized trip ever for the beginning of 2011. Hope you all like the ‘drinking’ session with me and Sui Lin… haha. Looking forward to have another excellent group trip for the balance of the year.
Good arrangement I must say. Too bad I can’t stay overnight. But it was great fun. Cynthia!!

There were some records broken as well.
1) Jason – His drunkest level ever!
2) JD – Most coke ever drank in 1 hour!
3) Kellie – Wearing the same baju for most number of times… (Not continuously la, else she’ll get her own room)
4) Kayden – One of the longest span without poo2?
5) Group – Most fun and laughter for the year! (Though the year is just 1.5 months old, hehe…)
