This time next week, Sun Moon Lake

September 16, 2010

Happy Malaysia Day everyone! Will be traveling to Seremban today for a quick trip back to my mom’s brother place, to send Mooncake.

Speaking of Mid-Autumn Festival, me and May will be spending that at Taichung, not knowing that it’s a public holiday there, hopefully the night market is still open.

However, this time next week, we will probably chilling out here…

Sun Moon Lake. It’s name after that because the lake is in the form of the Moon on 1 side of the lake and the Sun on the other.

I’ve just checked with the Bed & Breakfast operator last night and the weather there is quite soothing, ranging from 17 to 22 degree Celsius. It will be something like Genting, I guess.

Right in the middle of the lake is a very small island called Lalu. Our accommodation is providing us a trip on the boat around the scenic area on the lake, which is quite a good deal at NTD2,200.

Can’t wait for the trip, hopefully my 40,000 TWD is enough for us for the whole week there.
