Aside from celebrating my birthday at Neroteca, half of my birthday weekend were spent helping out at my dad’s shop. But on the actual day itself, I’ve requested to have the day off because it’s my 1st birthday spending it with Kayden.
It’s a rainy Sunday and we spent the morning at home chilling out before heading over to The Curve to have a walk with Kayden. Here’s him with his Chelsea jersey (yeah, called it dictatorship but he’s definitely going to support the Blues no matter what!)
We head over to the Ship at Damansara to have lunch, since I’m in the mood for some Escargot. Kayden first time sitting on a baby chair.
May’s still recovering from her flu so the lunch is sort of like a splash and dash. Not only that, halfway through the meal, Kayden decided that the place is a bit dark so he’s crying non stop even though we feed him the dinner bun.
May feeding him some of the bun.
May with her standard pose.
Birthday boy with the son.
The Ship, need no further introduction from me lar right? Despite the very sentimental setup, it still serve one of the classic western food around. There’s also not much place that serve Escargot as well.
Despite a simple lunch, it’s a very nice feeling being able to celebrate birthday together with your closest people. While last year I did mention that this year will be different, I’m sure next year will be very much different from this year as well.
Happy Birthday to me…

Happy Birthday Jordan!
Sorry, a bit late.
You reminded me of the last time we went to Victoria Station to eat steak and escargot monkey years ago.
Oops.. it was The Ship… not VS
@alex
We did went to the Ship before? I can’t recall already…signs of aging….hahaha. Will you be coming back this year? Then we can make a year end trip and visit Siewmin.
I will be coming back this year but this trip will be very packed. Will have to arrange another trip to make sure we have enough time to travel to Penang and spend some time there.
Judging from Siew Min’s blog, her house is not ready yet. Better let her settle down first…
