I have a confession to make. Aside from my obsession with Nasi Lemak and Hokkien Mee, I also lurve pancakes and waffles! So while we are deciding where to eat, I straight away suggested Paddington’s House of Pancake.
Mainly because Jasmin’s tagging along and like me, she’s also a fan of this kind of food. I’m sure a lot of you reading this would have heard of this place before, and are now commonly known as PHOP.
And like what they are called, the served everything under the sun with pancakes. Be it big, small, thick or thin, you named it, they probably have it. So it’s like a pancake lover’s heaven!
Jasmin and May posing for the camera. Oh and it’s also the place where I took this picture of myself, which I have used it as my Avatar (not the movie!)
That’s what we normally do while waiting for our food lar.
May ordered Miami (Yah, I know, they have weird names for their pancakes!), which basically contains bacon, banana and 2 pancakes made from potatoes. It’s pretty good.
Jasmin ordered something kiddy which is basically 2 brownie pancakes, with mini marshmallows and strawberries. It’s like dessert and she’s eating it as a main meal.
Erm, this is embarrassing. I forgotten what’s mine called. But basically it contains a piece of chicken with cheese, and pancakes (as thin as Quesadillas) wrapping some salad. It’s not bad either. The mashed potatoes on the other hand is a bit of a let down because the just use the same BBQ sauce for it.
As for desserts, we ordered this. Contains coin sized pancakes, with lots of fruits, cereals and ice cream. It’s pretty good!
The bill came out to about something slightly lesser than RM100, which is pretty ok since we ordered 4 types of pancakes plus drinks. I won’t go there often lar but at least I know when I want to get my fix on some not so normal pancakes, I know where to get it. Hehe.
