My best friend’s wedding is on Christmas Day but unfortunately both me and May are not able to make it as the dinner is at Raub. So we met up with the soon to be married couple for dinner so that we could catch up before they get really busy.
So we had a simple yet scrumptious dinner at Yuzu.
I am quite surprised that the restaurant is quite spacious and contemporary, good for catching up.
While waiting for them, we ordered started as pregnant lady can’t starve. The Tamago sushi is ok, although could be better without the sesame seed.
Jasmin ordered her usual, Tempura Soba.
2 piece of Ebi Tempura and Soba.
May’s Unagi Kabayaki Set.
It’s quite a big serving and what we ordered almost covered the whole round table we were seated on. Despite the long, the Unagi is a bit disappointing because there’s lots of bones.
My set is Sushi with Grilled Beef and Tempura. Quite good, especially the beef.
Alex (the groom), ordered a set almost similar with mine but with rice instead.
Phoebe (his wife) ordered Sushi Set, which is just as nice.
It’s a pretty decent place and the food is actually quite fresh. There’s also a banner that says that the raw materials are flown in 3 times a week. No complains aside from the boney Unagi. Price-wise, it’s more high end and almost comparable to Kura Restaurant. But for people like Sher Lin, I think can give this a try lar.
A picture of the bride and groom. And of course, another picture of the groom and me.
So again, Congratulations Alex and Phoebe!

Of course, but then you only ate the Soba right? You didn’t even finished the tempura.
