There’s an urban myth that says that couple who go to Bali will end up loosing their relationship. I only got to know that after I have visited the place. So far so good (touching wood).
Didn’t realised that my Bali honeymoon is hanging half-way. To recap please visit Bali Part 1.
Ok where was I, I left where we were enjoying a romantic dinner @ Jimbaran. Well as the 1st part title says, we ended up spending most of our remaining days indoor because it the rain was quite unpredictable.
On the 3rd day, we still hired the same driver to drive us to Tanah Lot, a temple situated by the seaside. I didn’t know that we need to pay in order to visit the temple (luckily the driver told us to act like we were from Jakarta, so that we get cheaper tickets!).
The Tanah Lot temple from far is one of the nicest place that I visited.
The other side of the sea is so serene and peaceful!
The hole underneath the cliff. If you see carefully, there’s actually some locals trying to surf there.
Another picture of us! (Olive’s style)
That night, we head to a local place to have Balinese dinner.
I ordered of of their rice, which I don’t know what it’s called. All I know it consist of pork floss, veges and aubergine. Tasted not bad too!
We also ordered a few sticks of Sate Babi. Yummylicious!
May ordered glass noodle. From what I recalled, I think it tasted so-so only.
We didn’t do much after the 3rd day. Mainly it’s just eating and walking, and eating and walking. Since Kuta beach is not that nice, we spent most of our time walking at shopping malls and duty free shops. (There’s where the idea of getting a Tag Heuer came from!).
Part 3 to follow…food food and more food!
