Back to the drawing Board

October 30, 2009

Ok, I have registered for P1 on Monday and only get to know that the account is activated yesterday, without being notified by P1 at all. So when I reached home yesterday, when I reached home, I set it up and try to look for a signal.

And after 15 minutes of trying, there’s still no signal, so I gave up. I so wanted to have a broadband line on my own but I guess it’s not meant to be. Not that I don’t see it coming, the agent who came over the other day have told me that the P1 line is not really stable but somehow I thought I should give it a try. And the countless post that I read from also skewed towards the negatives of the ISP.

So finally I have decided to return it back, barely even a day after activating the account. Not to mention that I go hoohaa on FB that I have POTONG…so much for that.

However, I am impressed that there’s a company that will do testing of all the wireless broadband available in your area. My personal suggestion is, it’s good to know which network is strong and weak in your area, then you will know how to choose. The last thing you need is to subscribe to the best deal but only to found out that the line is weak in your house. Like that, you will definitely feel pissed.

If any of you reading this is interested in getting wireless broadband, try this Internet Insider, they do offer great services. At least you will know what you are getting, and not stuck with an ISP for 12 months and paying for nothing. As for me, it’s back to the drawing board for now to find ways to stop PPS streaming.
