It’s that time of the week already. Not too long ago, I was too engrossed with Robert Rainford’s License to Grill show that I tried to cook some of the recipes that is shown on AFC. And one of it is Salmon Burger. Cooked it during my birthday as decided to eat at home instead. Some of the ingredients that are needed include Salmon, Bacon, Italian Parsley, Onion, Bread Crumbs, some oil and maple syrup.
Firstly you will need to fry the bacon until its crispy, which is something like this. Leave it to cool before dicing it to small pieces.
Then you can start preparing the other ingredients, which is the Italian Parsley and red onion.
Again, finely dice it and keep it aside. Next is to prepare the Salmon.
I have actually bought Norwegian Salmon here, you can actually see the redness of the meat. Debone the fish and cut it into cube size like above.
Next is to put the salmon into a food processor so that it will end up something like salmon mince.
Then you can add in all the diced ingredients along with a scope of maple syrup, oil, pepper and salt, lemon zest and the breadcrumbs. You can use you hand to mix it so that it’s all even.
Shape it until it look like a burger patty and you’re good for the grill!
I must admit, the grill could be better right? Haha, but it still gives me beautiful char-mark on the patties.
Consider quite ok lar, tasted so-so which makes me wondered if the show is boleh or not. Anyhow, the cost is a bit high lar on the making process but still it’s good to try some new cooking at home right? Till then, have fun!
