Over last weekend, had been busy with one of my close friend’s wedding. It’s definitely a great time for us as some of us who are as far as HK came back for the dinner as well.
So from Friday till Monday, I am quite tied up by being a ‘brother’. We started off by having his Bachelor night on Friday. So a few of us gather at Ozeki beside Poppi for dinner. There’s only 5 of us at dinner, but it was pretty good. Something out of the norm for Japanese food and it’s quite worth a try. And price is pretty alright as well. I do need to apologize as there’s no picture coz I didn’t brought my camera along.
After dinner, we head to Zouk. It’s been a long time since I went to a club and things have certainly change. And Zouk is not bad as well. They have done a quite a major renovation in the club and it’s divided into a few rooms, namely Phuture, Zouk, Velvet & Soundorama. The crowd is ok, with majority of the hip and trendy lepaking in Phuture, where the older crowd in Zouk.
Then again, I guess we are getting old for this. And the taste of whisky is just eeky. Being stressed out again the week before, I didn’t drink much as I’m the designated driver for my friends for pub-hoping. And we only reached home about 4am at night after a good mamaking session.
Saturday was pretty much a rest day for me. Slept till about 10am and went to Cineleisure to send my Xbox to be fix again. And come dinner time, we head over to Lau’s place for pre-wedding party.
Come Sunday, we gathered at Lau’s place about 1/4 past 8, we drove 6 cars to head to the bride’s house in Selayang. The ‘chi muis’ are pretty in terms of playing us. A couple of push ups eating fruits on the floor, doing the hula-hoop, eating some bao with chilli padi (my favourite), drinking some sour and bitter stuffs and we are through.
Here’s another shot of us the brothers with the ‘chi muis’
Well, I am still trying to source for the wedding pictures for dinner. Will post it up once I got it from the photographer.
Overall, it’s quite a fun but tiring day, and I just wished we had won the 4D of the wedding car’s number. Hehe.
