Fridays are almost my weekly my briyani day. It’s a day where normally I will join the girls in my office for lunch outside. And normally it will be at this briyani place in Menara ING.
So for today it’s not much different since it’s a Friday. The only difference is this time I decided to take photos of the briyani place and I should have done this long ago. I only got to know about this place about 6 months back, tucked on the basement of Menara ING. And the stall have one of the most tender mutton in town.
Most of the dish are quite standard like fried chicken, fried fish, chicken kurma, curry fish and curry mutton. And here’s normally what I ordered.
A piece of fried chicken, 2 pieces of brinjal and lots of gravy! I normally don’t take the mutton because of my gout but the gravy taste just as good. This time around, I also requested my lunch gang to pose a bit for the blog. Hopefully their beautiful faces will bring more traffic to my blog lar!
Sher Lin with her standard fried chicken and fried egg!
Shireen with her no so standard order (because normally she will take chicken kurma)
Chin Chin with the best shot of really wanting to recommend the briyani rice!
It’s a good lunch after a bizarre week, and normally this would be the time for us to chat and gossip around (since we don’t get to do this in the office) and have a relaxing lunch. We would start talking on all sort of nonsense raging from office politics to personal stuffs. This week topic, my shoulder!
Anyways, back to the food, price-wise it is quite cheap and worth it and there’s not much Briyani that you could find around Jalan Raja Chulan anyways so this would be your best bet!
